When it comes to habits, always ask yourself what your actions are helping you achieve. If you can’t connect your habit to your mission, then chances are you need to change it or abandon it. Claim that time back to do something more useful with it, something that will make you happier, or get you closer to your goal, or both.
Everything says something about you – how you speak, act, look, dress and smell. Pay attention to each one, because the sum of them can make you likeable and memorable, which in turn helps you influence people and build relationships that get stuff done.
Just as small things can anger and frustrate you if you let them, small things can bring you a lot of daily happiness if you let them. Your day can be extremely eventful and rewarding if you choose to make it so, and not by adding anything to your day, but by adding meaning to what already exists in it.
